2. Zoho Invoice: best free account for Indian businesses
Zoho says Zoho Invoice is free for Indian businesses, with up to two users and up to 500 invoices a year. You get GST invoices, sending by email, SMS or WhatsApp, online payments by UPI, cards and net banking, automated reminders, recurring invoices, a customer portal, time tracking and reports. It can file GSTR-1 through an API and export GSTR-3B as JSON, and has Android, iOS, Windows and Mac apps.

3. Refrens: best for e-invoicing and e-way bills
Refrens is a GST billing and accounting suite. It is GSP authorised for e-invoicing, generates IRNs and QR codes, creates e-way bills, and its premium plans add recurring invoices, payment reminders, payment gateway integration, inventory and GST reports. It supports 150+ currencies and has web, Android and iOS apps.

4. Invoice Simple: best for mobile invoicing with card payments
Invoice Simple is a polished invoicing app with online payments, read receipts, due date reminders, recurring invoices and a mobile app. It says invoices made in its generator carry no Invoice Simple branding.
