Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-06-12
Invoiceful ("we", "us") is a free online invoice generator. This policy describes the data we touch, how we use it, and the choices you have. We built the product around a single principle — your invoices belong to you, not us.
1. What data we collect
Invoice data you enter (business name, client name, addresses,
line items, totals, UPI ID, etc.) is stored in your browser's
localStorage.
It never leaves your device, never reaches our servers, and is not
shared with any third party. Clearing your browser data will delete it.
We do not require an account. We do not collect your name, email, or any personal information to use Invoiceful.
2. Cookies and tracking
We use a minimal amount of cookies and similar technologies on our marketing pages (not on the invoice editor itself):
- Essential cookies — for the cookie-consent banner to remember your choice.
- Advertising cookies (Google AdSense) — when enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Personalized advertising can be opted out at Google Ad Settings or www.aboutads.info.
Users in the European Economic Area, UK, and Switzerland see a consent banner before any non-essential cookies are set, in line with GDPR and ePrivacy directives. You can change your choice at any time by clearing the site's cookies.
3. Third-party services
- Google AdSense may serve ads on Invoiceful marketing pages. AdSense's data practices are governed by the Google Advertising Privacy & Terms.
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4) measures aggregate page
views and traffic patterns to help us prioritize improvements. We
run GA with
anonymize_ipenabled, and GA only fires after you accept cookies. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy. - Google Tag Manager (GTM) is the container we use to load measurement and ad tags. GTM itself does not set tracking cookies; the tags it loads (GA4, AdSense conversion pixels) do — and only after cookie consent.
- Cloudflare serves traffic through its global CDN
and may set essential cookies for security and bot detection
(
__cf_bm, etc.). These are considered strictly necessary under GDPR. - Hosting — static pages and assets are served by our hosting provider; standard server-access logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) may be retained briefly for security and abuse-prevention purposes.
4. PDFs you download
PDFs are generated on your device using your browser. No invoice data is transmitted to us during PDF export. PDFs do not contain hidden tracking pixels, beacons, or analytics scripts.
5. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. Because we deliberately collect almost no personal data, in most cases this means clearing your browser's localStorage and cookies for this site — instructions are available from your browser vendor. For any request beyond that, write to swotboysandy@gmail.com.
If you are in the EU/EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you have additional rights under GDPR and similar laws, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
6. Children's privacy
Invoiceful is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, surfaced on the home page.
